Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a 2nd shift Bindery Operator to join our Core Publishing Solutions team. You will perform setup tasks, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot issues to maintain quality and safety on the line.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with Lean concepts. Prior bindery experience is preferred; you'll work with SAP/MII and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong mechanical/technical troubleshooting ability.
• Familiarity with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Ability to read rulers and measurement tools.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Experience with bindery lines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review job specs for material and setup requirements.
• Set up equipment and monitor product quality.
• Troubleshoot product/equipment issues.
• Communicate during shift hand-offs.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
• Record activities in Tier Boards and SAP/MII.
• Handle feeding, catching off, stacking, and inventory cycle counts.
• Support safety programs and drive process improvements.
• Back up other operators as needed.
• Participate in project teams as required.
