Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Eagan, MN seeks an Operator in Bindery (2nd shift) responsible for leading the crew, ensuring smooth line operation and quality output. You will train temps and new staff, drive improvements via Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walks, and foster teamwork on a fast-paced production line.

Requires strong mechanical skills, lean knowledge, and ability to read production documents. Shift includes a $4 differential with a $2,500 sign-on bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Experience with industrial production machinery.
• Strong mechanical/technical skills; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Lean and continuous improvement mindset.
• Good communication across shifts and departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction, and training to the crew to optimize performance.
• Ensure the line runs smoothly and produces a quality product.
• Facilitate Tier 1 meetings and Gemba Walks to drive process improvements.
• Train crew members, including temps, to support workload.
• Motivate team and foster a collaborative work environment.
