Job summary

Thomson Reuters Corp. in Eagan, MN, is seeking a qualified Bindery Operator to support 3rd shift operations on our Core Publishing Solutions team. You will perform set-up tasks, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot to ensure quality and productivity.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 90 days in role. The role features shift differentials, planned overtime, and opportunities for growth within a global information services company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher required.
• Strong mechanical/technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and production orders.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE including steel toe shoes and ear protection.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform set-up tasks and monitor equipment and product quality.
• Troubleshoot equipment and product issues as needed.
• Communicate effectively during shift hand-off.
• Document activities in Tier Boards and SAP systems.
• Assist with feeding, catching off, stacking, or inventory cycle counts.
• Support safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
