Job summary

The Thomson Reuters facility in Eagan, Minnesota is hiring a #2 Bindery Operator for the 2nd shift. You will perform set-up tasks, monitor complex bindery lines, and troubleshoot to maintain quality and productivity while following standard work procedures.

We seek candidates with a High School Diploma or higher, strong mechanical skills, and knowledge of Lean concepts. Experience on bindery equipment and with systems like SAP or MII is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of Lean concepts and continuous improvement.
• Competent with rulers and measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and production orders.
• Experience with bindery equipment including perfect binders and collators.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform set-up tasks and monitor equipment.
• Troubleshoot product or equipment and communicate during shift hand-offs.
• Maintain quality and productivity through standard work.
• Document activities in Tier Boards and SAP/MII.
• Provide backup for other operators as needed.
• Participate in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
