Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Dispatch Coordinator to support its 24/7 fleet maintenance operations. You will coordinate and manage fleet logistics, assign events to service providers, and keep customers updated on ETA and repairs.

The role requires dispatching experience, multitasking skills, and a high school diploma or GED. Training will cover responding to dynamic situations across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdown or tire, with medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Assess and assign open events and verify authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider for requested repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow customer requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
