Job summary

Cox Automotive's fleet services division is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to orchestrate dispatch of service providers and keep 24/7 operations flowing. You will assess events, verify authorization, assign nearest providers, and update customers on ETA while addressing issues as they arise.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years in dispatching or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, with multitasking skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years' dispatching or heavy-duty vehicle maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong dispatching and multitasking knowledge is essential.
• Advanced degree or certification in related discipline is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations to ensure timely repairs.
• Assess and assign open events and verify authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform requested repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Report delays or problems to supervisor on duty.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
