Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator for Cox Fleet to help maintain continuous service by coordinating events and dispatching the right service provider. The role requires flexibility as hours vary to cover 24/7/365 operations and ensures timely communication with customers and supervisors.

Ideal candidates bring dispatching experience, multitasking skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in automotive service environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of related dispatching/maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions according to their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of any delays with the service provider's estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
