Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to support fleet service operations. You will coordinate logistics, dispatch service providers, and ensure timely repairs while maintaining 24/7 coverage to keep our fleet moving.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, strong dispatching skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, continuous-operation environment. Training occurs for a 24/7 schedule with variable shifts to cover weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Dispatching for breakdown and/or tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage logistics of fleet operations.
• Assess and assign open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign nearest service provider for repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow requirements.
• Update supervisor on delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries.
