Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to coordinate fleet service dispatch and ensure prompt repairs. You will assign events, verify authorizations, and connect with the nearest service provider, while keeping customers informed and escalating delays as needed.

You'll work in a 24/7/365 environment with varied shifts, starting with class dates in November/December 2026. A strong dispatcher background and multitasking ability are essential for success in this role at Cox Automotive.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years dispatching in breakdown/ tire or similar fleet operations.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking required.
• Experience coordinating with service providers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign open events to service providers.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign nearest, appropriate service provider for repairs.
• Inform customers of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Notify supervisor of delays or repair issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
