Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to help maintain continuous service by coordinating events and dispatching the nearest qualified service provider. You will verify authorization, manage ETA communications, and solve issues as they arise in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in dispatching for breakdowns or tire services, and the ability to multitask across a 24/7 operation. Training and shifts include evenings, weekends, and overnights as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years of dispatching experience in breakdown or tire services, or alternative qualifications with related discipline.
• Strong dispatching and multitasking knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Advise the customer of ETA and follow requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems with ETA/repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
