Job summary

Cox Automotive in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to ensure smooth operation by triaging events and dispatching the appropriate service provider. This role operates in a 24/7/365 environment with varied shifts and requires proactive problem solving and strong dispatching skills.

You will verify authorizations, assign the nearest provider, and communicate ETA to customers while handling inquiries and escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience (breakdown and/or tire), or 5 years of related dispatching experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Notify supervisor of delays or issues with repairs.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
