Job summary

Cox Automotive's Cox Fleet is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to ensure seamless operations by routing events to the right service providers and communicating ETA to customers. Work hours vary to provide market coverage in a 24/7/365 environment.

You will troubleshoot events, verify dispatch authorization, and coordinate with service providers while maintaining customer satisfaction and timely updates throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years dispatching experience in breakdown/vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.
• Advanced degree or certification in a related discipline or 5 years of dispatching/breakdown experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow customer instructions.
• Notify supervisor of delays or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
