Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to support Cox Fleet and ensure seamless dispatch of service providers for repairs, with 24/7/365 coverage. You will troubleshoot events and coordinate responses to maintain operational flow.

Responsibilities include assessing events, authorizing dispatch, assigning the nearest provider, communicating ETA to customers, and reporting delays or problems. This role offers diverse shifts and growth in the automotive services field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of dispatching experience for breakdowns or tire services on medium/heavy duty vehicles.
• Strong multitasking and dispatching knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Provide ETA to customers and follow service instructions.
• Inform supervisor of delays or issues with ETA or repairs.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
