Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to ensure seamless operation by triaging events and dispatching the appropriate service provider. This role operates in a 24/7/365 environment with varied shifts to cover all market hours.

The candidate will assess events, confirm authorization, assign the nearest provider, and communicate ETAs while addressing customer inquiries and delays as they arise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of dispatching experience, or 5 years in a related field.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the nearest service provider to perform repairs.
• Advise customer of ETA and follow instructions.
• Inform supervisor on duty of delays or problems.
• Address customer inquiries as they arise.
