Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Breakdown Coordinator to ensure seamless dispatch of service providers for breakdown events. You will manage event assignment, verify authorizations, and communicate ETA while coordinating with customers and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in dispatching for breakdowns or tire maintenance; or 5 years of related dispatching experience.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch the event.
• Assign the nearest service provider for repairs.
• Inform customer of ETA and follow their requirements.
• Notify supervisor on duty of delays or issues.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
