Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Break down Coordinator to ensure seamless fleet operations. You will assign events, verify authorization, and dispatch the nearest service provider for repairs, while communicating ETA to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years of dispatching experience for breakdown/ tire, medium to heavy duty vehicle maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of dispatching and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Assess and assign all open events.
• Verify proper authorization to dispatch events.
• Assign the appropriate and nearest service provider to make requested repairs.
• Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival and follow instructions according to their requirements.
• Inform supervisor on duty of any delays with the service provider's estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs.
• Address problems and customer inquiries as they arise.
