WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS ASSISTANT L2

Vacancies Available: 4

Role Purpose:

• Perform daily normal work at designated workstation/ work area assign by Superior
• Monitor Witron system based on expectation set by Group Leader
• Liase with Operations Team Lead or Superior for any work related issues
• Coordinate with ASRS maintenance team on the repair or maintenance services of equipment and tools at specific work area
• Perform routine inspection, care and usage of material handling equipment
• Perform regular housekeeping of workplace and workstation
• Escalate any issues to Superior that may leads to operational downtime
• Escalate or seek help from Team Lead or Superior if the issue is beyond his capability
• Perform regular 5S housekeeping and cleaning of workplace and workstation
• Participate in daily SFM as and when assigned by Superior
• Support ASRS Maintenance team on maintenance activities (if being trained) and as assigned by direct Superior during overtime hours

Major Responsibilities:

• Follow all rules, regulations and policies set by the Company

• Compliance to warehouse standard operating procedures and agreed process workflow

• Escalate any foreseeable bottle necks or potential service failures

• Adoption and practice of Operational Sustainability Principle

• Compliance to all safety regulations and enforce cargo security in the warehouse

• Reporting of any unsafe conditions, unsafe act or behavior or unsafe equipment to superior

• Proper care, inspection and handling of warehouse tools, I.T Equipment and material handling equipment such as strapping tools, strapping machines, stretch wrapping machine, forklift, manual hand pallet jack, order picker and powered pallet truck

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM/O-Level with relevant warehouse operations experience, or a Diploma with no prior work experience
• Must be proficient in English to perform work duties effectively
• Required to have at least 3 Level 2 (L2) inventory skillsets, indicating practical competence in inventory operations
• Performing work functions per SOPs and training
• Maintaining high accuracy and efficiency to meet department KPIs
• Able to adapt to change with a positive mindset
