Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees end-to-end warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely handling of goods. The role manages daily activities, leads the warehouse team, ensures compliance with SOPs, and drives operational improvements to meet productivity, cost, and service targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure all goods are processed, documented, and updated accurately in the system according to WI and SOP.
- Plan and optimise warehouse space, manpower allocation, and equipment utilisation based on volume forecasts.
- Monitor and analyse operational KPIs; implement corrective actions to meet performance targets.
- Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock investigations, and proper storage management.
- Oversee warehouse consumables, equipment maintenance schedules, and material handling equipment readiness.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain high housekeeping standards (5S).
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff; support performance reviews and skill development.
- Review and update SOPs, and drive initiatives to improve productivity, workflow, and service quality.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proficient in WMS/ERP systems and MS Office; knowledge of material handling equipment is an advantage.
