Assistant Head of Welfare Home - Social Services Lead
Job summary
A leading welfare organization in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Head of Home to support the Head in overseeing operations and ensuring statutory compliance at the Welfare Home. You'll supervise staff, ensure resident well-being, maintain facility standards, and oversee financial governance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Social Work or Psychology and has supervisory experience. This position offers a competitive salary and requires commitment to weekend and evening meetings if necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum degree in Social Work or Psychology or relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in social services.
- Strong administrative and financial management skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily care of residents and facility cleanliness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and MSF guidelines.
- Supervise, train and appraise staff performance.
