Primary Function of Position:
We seek a Director of Marketing Operations to lead Asia Regional Marketing Operations. Reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Regional Marketing and MACA, Asia, this position will be responsible for end-to-end marketing operations at the regional and market levels. Primary responsibilities include defining and improving global workflows, implementing content and lead management systems, expanding first-party data collection, content localization, and ensuring the right talent and agency partners are aligned to deliver a unified brand experience across the region. The role involves partnering with global peers to establish strategies, planning, budgeting, and prioritizing work to support business growth.
This role is integral to the Asia regional leadership team, focusing on scaling operations across Japan, China, Korea, India, and Taiwan.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Market Readiness, Strategy, and Planning:
- Lead regional marketing planning to align market teams, improve efficiency, and enhance campaign impact.
- Define product launch plans and messaging needs to support marketing activities.
- Project Management Systems:
- Utilize corporate project management tools for reporting and support digital marketing expansion.
- Support automation, web, and social media strategies aligned with global standards.
- Standardize reporting on marketing efficiency and impact, collaborating with analytics teams.
- Technology Infrastructure:
- Build business cases for marketing tech projects, ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Implement and manage MarTech systems like Workfront, Veeva, Marketo, Seismic, Salesforce, and regional platforms like WeChat, LINE, Kakao.
- SFDC Training and Usage Standardization:
- Align SFDC roadmap with regional priorities.
- Develop account strategies and partner with enablement teams for training.
- Process Optimization:
- Improve content review, approval, and library management.
- Adopt best practices and ensure team proficiency with tools.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for digital marketing processes.
- Agency Management:
- Define needs, create briefs, and provide strategic direction to agencies.
- Manage agency onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
- Data and Analytics:
- Ensure data integration, surface insights, and report KPIs.
- Track performance, identify risks, and improve decision-making based on analytics.
- Corporate Brand Messaging Localization:
- Partner with global teams to localize brand messaging for Asia.
- Lead workshops and oversee the transition process.
- Event Management:
- Oversee regional flagship events, planning 4-5 large-scale events annually.
