Charles River Development (CRD) is a rapidly growing and profitable financial software and services firm, operating as part of State Street and integral to the Alpha product set. Customers include top investment management, wealth management, banking, and insurance firms.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Deliver escalation services for the most complex/problematic CRIMS technical, functional, and operational issues.

2. Provide deep CRIMS, domain, and infrastructure experience with advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

3. Handle sensitive issues affecting customer perception of CRD's problem resolution.

4. Use management-level thinking, demonstrate perceptive skills, and see the larger picture of issues.

5. Meet quarterly with CRD Product Engineering to provide feedback on operational and support issues and prioritize NFRs into Product/Engineering.

6. Package issues, work to date, and related information for efficient escalation to Engineering or Product Management.

7. Act as the entry point for new product introduction to SaaS infrastructure and provide feedback on deployment and operational issues.

General Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in the Financial/Software Services industry, with financial market information systems preferred.

2. At least five (5) years of experience with the Charles River application.

3. Proven ability to partner with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service.

4. Successful client management and support record.

5. Knowledge of Front, Middle, and Back Office, and instrument types across equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, etc.

6. Ability to interact with C-Level management using a hands-on approach.

7. Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, relational databases, SQL, FIX, Crystal Reports, messaging, and web services is a plus.

8. Exposure to structured programming languages.

9. Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
