Job Description

Main responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis for new transactions and perform portfolio monitoring for assigned portfolio, via private or public sources
• Provide input into documentation waivers and amendments
• Review due diligence documents for due diligence on transactions
• Support colleagues in marketing efforts
• Contribute towards various portfolio management reporting tasks (such as regular reporting, specific credit/industry analysis, stress testing)

Education

• Bachelor in Business Management or Accountancy or non-business degree with CFA qualification
• CFA charter holder preferred or in advanced stage of CFA qualification

Past Experience

• 4-8 years of experience in credit analysis in corporate banking- preferably in project finance and structured finance
• Experience in energy (oil & gas, renewable, conventional) and/or infrastructure sector would be an advantage
• Previous experience in origination/relationship management in corporate banking environment a plus

Skills required

• Open to learning about new industries and new financing structures
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team player who is able to work well with underwriters and other members of portfolio management team globally
• Willing to support other offices on transactions globally and be able to manage multiple transactions at one time
• Confident with strong written and verbal communication skills and possess ability to synthesize complex information into simple concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self-starter with a proven ability to execute work in a timely and high-quality fashion
• High degree of proficiency in Excel
