Job summary

A growing accounting firm in Singapore is seeking dynamic audit professionals to join their team. Responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing audits for small and medium-sized clients, reviewing audit working papers, and managing client expectations. Ideal candidates should possess an Accountancy Degree recognized by ISCA/ACCA with at least 2 years of audit experience for a Senior role. Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English are essential. The role offers a conducive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years audit experience for Senior role; others considered for Associate role.
  • Able to complete statutory audit independently with minimal supervision.
  • Mature, responsible, adaptable, and flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, execution, and finalization of audit assignments.
  • Identify and discuss accounting issues with manager/partner.
  • Review audit working papers prepared by junior team members.
  • Manage client’s expectations and provide timely updates.
  • Prepare recommendation letters to clients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists in the planning, execution and finalization of all areas of the audit assignments of small and medium size and clients.

  • Identify and discuss accounting, auditing and or other reporting issues with manager and/or partner

  • Review for completeness and adequacy, the audit working papers prepared by junior members within the engagement team

  • Manage client’s expectation and provide timely updates and or feasible solutions on their queries

  • Prepare recommendation letter to client to improve control and enhance business efficiency as well as any required special report

Requirements
  • Accountancy Degree recognized by ISCA / ACCA

  • Min. 2 year audit experience at local audit firm to be considered for Senior role. Others will be considered for Associate role.

  • Able to complete statutory audit independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision and have strong initiative

  • Able to do tax computation

  • Mature, responsible, adaptable, flexible, strong analytical skills and committed

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Good command of Mandarin & English in both written & spoken to liaise with Mandarin speaking foreign associates.

  • Salary will be in accordance to experience and qualifications
