Senior Finance Executive/Controlling (Full Set/Closing)
Job summary
A leading financial service provider in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage financial reporting and compliance for various entities. The role involves supervising a team, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial statements, and engaging with stakeholders for revenue reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles, and be well-versed in necessary regulations. A proactive approach and strong communication skills are essential.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant working experience, ideally with audit background.
- 2+ years in a supervisory role required.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Self-starter capable of meeting job objectives independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage the review of financial statements in compliance with regulations.
- Approve journal entries and ensure accuracy.
- Ensure timely delivery of financial reports with analysis.
- Engage with business stakeholders for revenue reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing group consolidation.
- Support compliance with financial and tax filing requirements.

- 3 years contract (Basic Salary + AWS + VB + Annual Increment)
- MRT Location: Clementi / Six Avenue (need to rotate between 2 office)
- Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm (except Wednesday till 6.00 pm)
Maintain accurate and timely reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements. Drive improvements in team productivity and operational effectiveness through process enhancements and robust internal controls. Manage daily operational activities to ensure smooth workflow.
- In charge of the review of entities’ monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with all regulatory requirements, including SFRS and Charity reporting standards
- Approve journal entries submitted by analyst and ensure accuracy
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including the analysis and commentary on major variances
- Provide monthly revenue reconciliation to ensure revenue is recognized accurately and actively engage with business stakeholders
- Assist in preparing monthly group consolidation
- Review audit schedules and assist in internal and external audit queries
- Support and ensure compliance with all financial and corporate tax filing requirements
- Involve in continuous process improvement for more effective and efficient operationAssist in new business initiatives and system implementation/enhancement when required
- Able to work within tight deadlines
- Lead and guide analyst in day-to-day operation and closing process
- Degree in accounting or ACCA and its equivalent
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience preferably with audit background, including 2 years supervisory role
- Good working knowledge of SFRS and other regulatory requirements
- Well-versed in advance Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook
- A self-starter who can plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Can-do attitude, good team player, driven and passionate about work
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
