Job description

Location: Stadium Drive
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 6.30pm
Salary Range: Up to $6,500 per month
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable subject to performance & business needs)

Govt Exposure - Support finance business partnering, budget governance and strategic financial advisory. This role provides exposure to large-scale national programmes, stakeholder management, and cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Finance Business Partnering

• Provide financial advisory support to senior management for board-level discussions and strategic decision-making.
• Conduct financial performance reviews and business evaluations for assigned groups/divisions.
• Support budget planning, utilisation monitoring, forecasting and resource optimisation.

2. Business Advisory & Solutions

• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational needs and propose compliant financial solutions.
• Advise on project planning, business arrangements, funding structures and financial implications.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement and legal teams to ensure all solutions align with government regulations and internal policies.

3. Budget Management & Reporting

• Oversee monthly budget performance across corporate, group, division and programme levels.
• Prepare monthly budget reports with insights and recommendations.
• Review project proposals for budget adequacy and reasonableness.
• Support processing of budget journals, virements and related documentation.

4. Grants & Funding Support

• Manage grant administration such as quarterly drawdowns, utilisation tracking and reporting.
• Support funding submissions including financial projections and business case development.
• Maintain accurate grant records and liaise with external agencies when required.

5. Additional Responsibilities

• Support ad-hoc financial projects, reviews and operational improvement initiatives as assigned.
