Job summary

A leading engineering company in Singapore is seeking an EHS Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and develop EHS programs. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the construction industry, hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, and be a registered WSHO. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, training personnel, and continuous improvement of EHS systems. A night shift work arrangement may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Registered WSHO with MOM is mandatory.
• Willingness to work night shifts depending on site arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety.
• Develop and monitor EHS Programs and policies.
• Conduct regular site safety inspections and enforce compliance.

Job Description/ Roles & Responsibilities

• You will liaise closely to the Project Managers on workplace safety, health to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
• Develop, implement, and monitor company EHS Programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conducts regular site safety inspection and enforce compliance of prevailing MOM Safety Acts and Regulations
• Enforces all safety requirements and in-house safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct monthly Safety committee meetings.
• Continuous improvement on EHS system through the effective implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management standards
• Review and maintain site's environmental, health and safety records.
• Carry out training to all workers, staff, and site personnel on EHS.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering/ Environmental, Health and Safety or relevant courses
• Must be registered WSHO with MOM.
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in a construction industry.
• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills, and a "can-do" attitude
• Able to communicate with people of all levels.
• Willing to work for night shift (Depends on Site Arrangement)
