Job summary

A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage safety inspections. The ideal candidate should have a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the Building and Construction Industry. Job description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure compliance of operations with Workplace Safety and Health/Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
  • Follow up with the committee site walk inspection findings for WSH Officer to close up the report and assisting WSH Officer on incident/accident investigation.
  • Responsible for daily checklists are properly documented and carry out mass toolbox meeting once a week.
  • Coordination with relevant site in‑charge on improving the worksite safety and cleanliness.
  • Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
  • Assist WSHO to organize monthly Safety Committee meetings and put up safety reports, including safety issues
  • Compiles all relevant reports and records and carry out daily safety inspection
  • Supervise all workers in providing safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM Regulations
  • Any other ad‑hoc duties assigned by superior from time to time
REQUIREMENT /QUALIFICATION
  • Possess a Certificate in Safety Coordinators Course from approved institutes
  • Min. 2 years relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry
  • Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
  • Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment
  • Experience in Building & Commercial/Mix Development will be advantageous.
