Job summary

Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, including the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act in Singapore
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through regular risk assessments and inspections
- Review Work Authorization documents such as Risk Assessments, Safe Work Procedures, and Permit-to-Work forms
- Promote safety awareness and a strong safety culture across the organization
- Conduct safety briefings, workshops, and ongoing education sessions for internal staff and external stakeholders
- Deliver in-house safety inductions and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) training to the workforce
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records
- Develop and execute emergency response plans and conduct regular emergency drills
- Continuously improve safety programs, procedures, and practices
- Integrate new safety technologies where applicable to enhance workplace safety
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules and checklists for safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate with partners, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with site teams to improve overall worksite safety and cleanliness
- Manage safety-related records and generate reports as required
Job Requirements
- Diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering or Occupational Safety)
- Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (ACWSH) is mandatory
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in safety coordination, preferably in construction or industrial sectors
- Hands-on experience with safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and safety management practices
