Job summary

A leading aerospace and engineering company in Singapore is seeking an EHS Executive to manage the Environment, Health and Safety program. The role requires a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with a minimum of 4 years’ experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the aviation or oil and gas industry is advantageous. The position requires monitoring EHS policies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in aviation or oil and gas industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support the company's EHS program and policies.
  • Conduct EHS surveys and recommend corrective actions.
  • Investigate accidents to determine root causes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Job Description
  • Report to the Corporate Quality and Safety Department through the Head Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager.
  • Perform the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Executive role for assigned Business Unit under ST Engineering Aerospace Ltd.
  • Monitor and Support Company's EHS program and policies
  • Effective and efficient execution Business Unit ISO 45k and ISO 14k Management Systems and certification.
  • Conduct EHS surveys/inspections and recommend appropriate corrective actions
  • Advice and Recommend Safety Programs for improvement of EHS Performance
  • Investigate accidents to determine and highlight root causes
  • Track and update EHS KPI performance of Business Units (Local and Overseas)
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and other legal requirements
  • Manage and liaise with Authorities on Safety and Environmental related matters
Job Requirements
  • Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (minimum 4 years’ experience)
  • Pro-active, adaptable, independent; able to work with minimal supervision and perform under a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess good Communication and Presentation skills
  • Able to work with Management Team and all other levels in organisation
  • Working experience in aviation, oil and gas industry is an advantage
  • Certified Fire Safety Manager is an added advantage
  • Noise Control Officer Qualification is an added advantage
  • ISO 14K and ISO 45K Internal / Lead Auditor is an added advantage
