Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for a Human Resources Officer to manage recruitment of foreign workers and oversee associated administrative tasks. The successful candidate will hold a diploma or degree in Human Resources Management and have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining worker records, managing dormitory matters, and providing advice to workers. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a good understanding of employment laws, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Good understanding of Employment Act and Manpower Laws.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Agents on recruitment of foreign workers.
  • Update and maintain workers records and ensure database accuracy.
  • Engage and provide sound advice to workers on enquiries.
  • Manage all dormitory matters including inspections and licensing.
  • Liaison for property maintenance with external parties.

  • Engage and provide sound advice to workers pertaining to any enquiries
  • Manging all dormitory matters which includes working closely with MOM on inspection matters, licensing issues etc
  • Liaison for Group’s property maintenance with external parties
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree equivalent in Human Resources Management related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of Employment Act and Manpower Laws
  • Able to work well with business leaders and managers to address anu workers issues
  • Excellent team player
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision in a dynamic environment
