Operations Supervisor (Warehouse/Changi/5.5days work-week)
World Marketing Group (WMG) specializes in crossborder parcel and mail logistics in the Asian region. As a licensed postal service operator, the company has wide commercial and postal networks to facilitate clearance and delivery of eCommerce parcels.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high service quality.
- Managing resources, streamlining processes, coordinating between departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Playing a key role in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth.
- Oversee and manage daily operational activities across departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
- Plan and monitor the use of company resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to support company objectives and maintain operational excellence.
- Identify process bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Prepare operational reports and management summaries for performance review.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve performance and service goals.
- Support the management team in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Handle escalations, resolve operational issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
This is a 5.5 day work-week based in the East.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and operations management tools/software.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
