A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control specialist. Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Ensure proper labelling, storage, and handling of goods in accordance with company procedures.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers, transporters, and internal teams.
Ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery to customers or outlets.
Prepare delivery orders, invoices, and shipment documentation.
Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, or damaged goods promptly.
Supervise and guide warehouse assistants, packers, and drivers.
Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
Provide on-the-job training to improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company SOPs.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
Report and investigate any accidents, damages, or safety incidents.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
Use warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software to update stock movements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Analyse warehouse performance indicators and suggest improvements.
Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
Assist in controlling warehouse operational costs.
Identify process gaps and recommend efficiency improvements.
Reduce losses due to damages, expiry, or misplacement of stock.
Support management in implementing operational improvements.
Liaise with procurement, sales, finance, and operations teams.
Communicate effectively with vendors and logistics partners.
Handle customer or internal queries related to warehouse operations.
