Job description

Job Scope :

1. Inventory Management

• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records.
• Perform regular stock checks (cycle counts and audits).
• Coordinate with procurement and sales to ensure stock availability.

2. Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities (receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping).
• Implement efficient warehouse layout and storage systems.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and traceability of goods.

3. Team Supervision

• Lead and manage warehouse staff (hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation).
• Assign duties and monitor productivity.
• Motivate the team to meet KPIs and deadlines.

4. Logistics & Distribution

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics.
• Liaise with transport companies, suppliers, and customers.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce health and safety regulations (e.g., forklift operation, hazard management).
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with legal standards.
• Conduct safety drills and risk assessments.

6. Systems & Reporting

• Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software for tracking inventory and workflows.
• Generate reports on stock levels, performance metrics, and operational efficiency.
• Identify areas for process improvement and cost savings.
