Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands on Warehouse Manager to the next step of career with strong supervisory skills to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective workflows, inventory management, and the supervision of warehouse staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Warehouse Operations Management:

    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and materials.

    • Ensure efficient order picking, packing, and shipping processes.

    • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy in tracking, reporting, and stocking.

    • Implement and maintain best practices for warehouse operations, optimizing space utilization and workflow efficiency.

  2. Staff Supervision:

    • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse 4-6 associates, ensuring high performance and a positive work environment.

    • Delegate tasks and manage daily schedules to ensure operational targets are met.

  3. Inventory Control:

    • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.

    • Collaborate with Sales and Purchase departments to forecast inventory needs and ensure adequate stock levels.

    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory levels or damaged goods.

  4. Process Improvement:

    • Analyse performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions.

  5. Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory movements, and order fulfilment.

    • Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity, inventory levels, and safety incidents.

    • Preparing budgets and scheduling expenditures in coordination with finance department.

  6. Customer Service:

    • Work closely with the Sales team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

    • Address any customer or operational issues related to the warehouse and provide resolutions promptly.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor managing a small team across all functions of warehouse or in a similar supervisory role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct warehouse staff.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics.

  • Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability multitask, prioritise assignments and to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions in the warehouse

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 7 years of experience in warehousing with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

  • Forklift certification (if required by the company) and knowledge of safety protocols.
