Job summary

A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to manage inventory and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The successful candidate will act as the Dangerous Goods Inspector and coordinate with stakeholders for shipments. Qualifications

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Assume ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Act as the designated Dangerous Goods Inspector.
  • Ensure accurate packing and completeness of paperwork for shipments.
  • Perform goods receiving, inspection, and processing in the system.

Job description
Responsibilities:
  • Assume ownership on assigned tasks –Able to perform competently with Minimal or no supervision
  • Act as the company’s designated Dangerous Goods Inspector and Store Inspector
  • Coordination with internal stakeholders and forwarders on shipments to be received or despatched
  • Ensure packing of shipments are performed correctly and safely including completeness of paperwork
  • Ensure completion of work tasks (Material Issuances, Receipts and Shipments) for month end closure activities
  • Ensure picking of parts are performed accurately and Parts are binned accurately to its assigned storage location
  • Ensure Parts are binned accurately to its assigned storage location
  • Identify and escale issues with damage to materials received, incorrect certification received and the like to internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in annual/cycle stock counts and ensure adherence to company process
  • Perform Goods receiving, Inspection and Processing of Goods Receipt in the company’s system
  • Participate in Regulatory or Financial Audits as required
  • Any other duties assigned by Superior
Education Requirements:
  • Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management
  • 3 years of experience in Handling Aerospace Materials preferred, candidates with lesser experience or Fresh Graduates may be considered if deemed suitable for the role as a Warehouse Assistant
  • Dangerous Goods Handling certification is a plus
