Job description

Location: Jamiyah FoodBank, Tannery Lane, Singapore

Job Type: 5-Day Work Week, Monday to Friday, Saturday, Once a month

*Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To execute inbound and outbound of food items.
  • Receive, check, and organize incoming deliveries to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • To help in the loading, unloading, packing, sorting, racking etc at the warehouse.
  • Manage and monitor stock levels, ensuring that food supplies are available and ready to be delivered when needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and accessible warehouse for efficient operations.
  • To escort Food Bank trucks for collection/delivery of food items at donors, sponsors and beneficiaries’ places respectively.
  • To assist in collection/delivering of items and equipment to respective event location.
  • Assist with stock-taking, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Secondary or O level.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Able to use warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software.
  • Meticulous, detailed in work and able to handle deadlines and stress.
  • Systematic and organized in handling administrative work.
  • May require to work after office hours or weekends during events periods.
