Job summary

Job description
I - Detailed Job Function
  • To GRN goods received into inventory management system in a timely manner and set standards.
  • To document any discrepancy or breakage when receiving delivery.
  • Ensure inventory are properly stored and located in the correct location (as per inventory management system)
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory levels – physical and inventory management system
  • Ensure goods are picked and ready for delivery in a timely manner as per requirements documented by the client. Ensure goods packaging meets high quality standards to achieve zero damages upon shipping.
  • Organize and locate inventory in databases and online systems.
  • Is able to pull up relevant reports from the ERP system, create and maintain the weekly Operations and Delivery report
  • Ensure proper tracking of any stock movements that maybe issued out for non-sales purposes with evidence of who, where and when it was issued.
  • Other areas as required by BOD.
II - Requirements:
  • N/O-level equivalent. Other qualifications such as Business Studies, Purchasing & Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, English is a must for communication at work
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work logically, systematically, and with a high level of attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to adapt to diverse client needs and to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Sound numerical skills with the ability to analyse data, facts, and figures accurately
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions and perform effectively under pressure, meeting demanding targets and tight deadlines
  • Displays tact and diplomacy when dealing with clients and suppliers
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Self-aware with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Proficient in IT applications, with experience in handling electronic data; familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications is required
