The Firm

Charm Partner Asset Management is a CMS-licensed institutional investment firm headquartered in Singapore, with a strategic presence in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and the US. We manage a global multi-asset portfolio with a core thesis on the Global Consumer & Retail sectors.

Our capital base is unique, backed by listed industrial conglomerates (Internet giants, supply chain leaders, FMCG brands) and prominent Family Offices. We deploy capital across the capital structure—from Venture Capital and Private Equity to Public Equities and Fixed Income—leveraging deep industrial insights to generate superior risk‑adjusted returns.

Job Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber investment professional to drive our investment mandates and expand our ecosystem. The successful candidate will act as a core execution engine, managing complex cross-border private market transactions and optimizing the performance of our public market book.

Crucially, this role requires a "connector" mindset: you will actively lead partnership and co-investments with local and global family offices, articulating sophisticated investment theses to global capital partners.

Job Responsibilities

Investment Execution (Private & Public)

  • Deal Sourcing and Deal Structuring (PE/VC): Lead the evaluation of direct investments in Consumer/TMT sectors. Perform rigorous due diligence, build granular financial models, and structure deal terms (valuation, liquidation preferences, convertible notes).
  • Public Markets Exposure: Conduct deep‑dive fundamental research on listed consumer equitiessecured (US/HK/SG) and credit instruments. Identify fearr value dislocations through proprietary modeling and earnings forecasting.

Portfolio Management & Asset Allocation

  • Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA): Work with the public equity team to define the optimal mix of illiquid (PE/VC) and liquid (Equities/Bonds) assets based on macro‑outlooks and LP liquidity preferences.
  • Risk Management: Monitor portfolio beta, currency exposure (USD/CNY/SGD/JPY), and concentration risk; execute hedging strategies where appropriate.
  • Performance Attribution: Conduct quarterly portfolio reviews, analyzing attribution factors to refine investment strategies.

Strategic Partnerships

  • Family Office Relations: Actively liaise with external Single and Multi‑Family Offices (SFOs/MFOs) to build a robust co‑investment network.
  • Co‑investment: Identify high‑conviction investment opportunities and structure club deals/JV/CVC etc., inviting external family offices to co‑invest. Lead the coordination of the consortiums.
  • Ecosystem Building: Co‑host high‑impact industry events, private dinners, and investment salons to drive fundraising initiatives and strengthen the firm’s brand among the UHNW community.

Institution ruas Thought Leadership (English Media)

  • Market Commentary: Produce high‑quality, institutional‑grade market insights in English. Articulate complex macro and sector trends and research into clear, actionable investment views through public platforms.
  • Media Representation: Represent the firm as a domain expert on English‑language financial podcasts, webinars, and panels.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or STEM from a top‑tier global university is mandatory. CFA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • More than 5 years of rigorous experience in top‑tier family office, asset management, PE/VC, or investment banking.
  • Proven ability or strong potential in business development, fundraising, or managing investor relations (IR) specifically within the Family Office space is required.

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR).
Benefits
  • Professional Rigor: An environment that values intellectual honesty, analytical depth, and disciplined investing.
