Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: SGD $165,000 – $235,000 gross per annum
Eligibility: Singapore-based professionals (no relocation or visa sponsorship available)

About the Company

A leading global financial technology firm specializing in multi-asset liquidity provision and trading infrastructure is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Liquidity to spearhead its eFX liquidity strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.

This is a high-impact leadership role for an individual with deep expertise in liquidity management, e-trading, and data-driven execution— someone capable of combining quantitative insight, market knowledge, and strategic acumen to deliver exceptional results across institutional and B2B trading environments.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  • Lead and optimize eFX liquidity management, sourcing and refining liquidity from multiple bank and non-bank providers.
  • Design and execute advanced liquidity and execution strategies to ensure competitive pricing, stability, and performance.
  • Monitor market flows, spreads, and dynamics to continuously enhance liquidity pools and mitigate risk.
  • Detect and manage toxic or abusive trading behaviors, including latency arbitrage and flow imbalances.
  • Oversee and strengthen prime brokerage relationships, including negotiations, credit line management, and operational alignment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Quant, Risk, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to implement robust liquidity solutions.
  • Lead the onboarding and integration of pricing streams, FIX connections, and liquidity platforms.
  • Maintain a strong liquidity risk and compliance framework aligned with APAC regulatory standards.
  • Utilize Python, SQL, and data analytics to improve liquidity modeling, infrastructure, and decision-making.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team, fostering analytical rigor and operational excellence.
  • Represent the firm in industry events and strategic engagements, showcasing institutional-grade capabilities.
What You Bring
  • 10–15+ years of experience in FX or electronic trading, with a strong background in liquidity management.
  • Proven track record managing liquidity provider, prime brokerage, and institutional relationships.
  • Deep understanding of eFX market microstructure, pricing models, and execution quality.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for liquidity and tick data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate toxic flow in real time.
  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working closely with quantitative and systematic trading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of APAC trading markets and regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate credentials such as CFA or MBA (advantageous).
  • Experience managing multi-jurisdictional liquidity operations across APAC.
