Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial institutions in business controls, operational risk, compliance, legal, audit or similar function.
  • Knowledge of the APAC financial services regulatory landscape including key regulators and regulations.
  • Comfortable with reading and interpreting legal texts.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure legal obligations and regulations are assessed accurately.
  • Review and assess new regulations for business impact.
  • Perform mapping of legal obligations to business procedures.
  • Ensure global consistency and quality of team output.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership and stakeholder management.
