Key Responsibilities
- Develop familiarity with internal operational systems and processes.
- Review voyage files to ensure accuracy and compliance, escalating issues to supervisors where necessary.
- Close and archive files once fully verified and approved.
- Provide day to day support to the operations team on administrative and operational matters.
As you progress, you will be entrusted with the daily management of one or more vessels, including:
- Interpreting and applying charter party agreements and fixture notes.
- Issuing instructions to captains for time and voyage charters.
- Preparing stowage plans and appointing agents at loading and discharge ports.
- Planning and ordering bunkers for vessels under your responsibility.
- Managing port disbursements and canal dues.
- Performing laytime calculations and handling freight/hire invoicing.
- Monitoring vessel positions and activities on a daily basis.
- Executing all other duties related to vessel operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Background
- Degree in Maritime Studies.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to two years of maritime industry experience.
- Fluency in English and Chinese; prior exposure to shipping environments is an advantage.
