Non‑Tenure Track Visiting Professor in Chinese Medicine

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for a non‑tenure track position at the level of Visiting Professor in the field of Chinese Medicine.

SBS is searching for individuals with a well‑defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. The successful candidate will help foster relationships with local and global Chinese medicine communities, healthcare professionals, and relevant organizations. The successful candidate is expected to participate in public lectures, workshops, and events to promote understanding and awareness of TCM principles and practices.

Responsibilities
  • To conduct a seminar to the public on general wellness.
  • To teach 3-4 lessons on integrative and evidence‑based medicine, clinical epidemiology, translational research evidence synthesis, ethical and clinical applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare to local physicians as part of NTU’s continued professional education lessons.
  • To conduct a talk to undergraduate students on evidence‑based medicine and clinical applications of artificial intelligence in healthcare.
Requirements and qualifications
  • Possess relevant PhD degree in Chinese Medicine or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • Possess many years of teaching and/or clinical experiences in Chinese Medicine or equivalent at recognised university.
  • At least a Professor from recognised university.
