Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Upstream Energy team at Marsh. This role will be based in Singapore and is a hybrid position requiring work in the office at least three days a week.

Responsibilities
  • Work on tenders for Offshore Operational, Offshore Construction, Midstream and Offshore Liability accounts.
  • Arrange and handle client roadshows to facilitate interactions between clients and their (re)insurance markets.
  • Use significant risk expertise and industry knowledge to develop placement solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop go‑to‑market strategies and articulate the value of the Client Executive & Placement Broking role to clients and carriers.
  • Understand and facilitate coverage specifications/requirements and obtain the best quotes and coverage from carriers.
  • Implement client‑agreed placement strategies to achieve growth goals and provide exceptional client service.
  • Bind insurance coverage and maintain accurate documentation of coverage completion.
  • Assist and handle offensive and defensive tenders from the region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with risk carriers, insurance underwriters, regional colleagues and clients.
  • Interface closely with client executives and in‑country teams to support client and account retention and facilitate new business development.
  • Drive placement and technical support activities on assigned accounts, ensuring procedural compliance, reviewing data, updating annual renewal exhibits and supervising timely operational invoicing.
  • Advise and appraise management about client issues or trends through clear communication and participate in developing solutions.
Qualifications
  • 7 to 10 years of insurance experience within the Energy market.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and insurance placement in Offshore Operational, Offshore Construction, Midstream and Offshore Liability sectors.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, carriers and internal teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
