Our client is a Japanese Venture Capital Company with a Singapore-based regional office. They are seeking a Fund Administration Professional to support senior management and provide operational assistance to a MAS-licensed fund management company, as well as other affiliated group entities.

This role offers exposure across fund administration, legal and compliance, and project-based work, supporting investment activities and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Fund Administration
    • Maintain books and records for newly established funds
    • Support the execution of investments for funds managed in Singapore
    • Calculate and prepare investors’ capital call and distribution notices
    • Monitor investments through the collection and review of financial documents
    • Liaise with investee management, fund general partners, and brokers (for listed securities) on investor-related matters, including AGM/EGM, board matters, and corporate actions
    • Prepare investment reports for external investors and internal group stakeholders
    • Assist with audit processes and investment valuation exercises
    • Perform cash management duties
  • Legal and Compliance
    • Work with team members to conduct onboarding and annual KYC procedures
    • Support FATCA and CRS-related requirements
    • Prepare regulatory reports for MAS and other relevant governmental authorities
  • Special Projects
    • Participate in ad-hoc group-wide projects, including support for new fund or entity set-ups within the group
