Job summary

A technology services provider based in Singapore is seeking an individual to support its PLCs and associated products by generating test cases and performing functional and reliability tests. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, and have 1-2 years of experience. Understanding of fieldbus protocols and IEC61131-3 programming languages is essential for this role, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in design and development of verification tests in an R&D setup.
• Familiar with IEC61131-3 programming languages such as Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block.

• Maintain support of our existing offer of PLCs and associated products
• Understand product features based on industry standard specification
• Understand verification test plan and test setup
• Generate test cases, execute, and optimize for reuse
• Perform functional and reliability tests, troubleshoot, and help resolve issues
• Assess impact of a new feature and highlight to stake holders
• Review information for our customer documentation.
• Close cooperation with our multi-site R&D team, System Test teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 1-2 years of experience in design and development of verification tests in an R&D setup
• Understanding of fieldbus protocols such as EtherNet/IP, OPCUA, Serial Line, Modbus
• Aware of at least one of the IEC61131-3 programming languages (Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block etc.)
• Analytical skills to investigate customer issues with systematic troubleshooting skills
