Job summary
A leading financial services firm in Singapore seeks a Business Development Manager to identify and establish relationships with high-net-worth and institutional investors. You will lead fundraising efforts, manage client engagements, and ensure achievement of sales targets while providing tailored investment presentations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in financial services and a strong network in Asia.
Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with HNWI/UHNWI, family offices, and institutional investors, building a sustainable pipeline of qualified prospects for the firm’s fund products.
- Lead fundraising and distribution efforts for fund products, and other investment offerings, ensuring achievement of individual and team sales targets through structured sales campaigns and direct client engagement.
- Deliver high-quality investment presentations and product pitches tailored to client needs, providing clear explanations of fund strategies, risk-return profiles, and the firm’s broader value proposition.
- Oversee the entire sales process including prospect identification, due diligence support, contract negotiation, execution, and post-sale servicing, ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
- Partner with compliance and operations teams to coordinate the full onboarding process, including completion of KYC/AML documentation, account setup, and ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing account management support to clients, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and consistent delivery of service standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activity, and pipeline development in CRM systems. Prepare periodic reports for management to monitor sales performance, pipeline status, and market opportunities.
- Contribute to marketing and client engagement initiatives by assisting with the planning and execution of client events, briefings, and roadshows. Support guest invitation processes, coordinate logistics, and ensure proper follow-up with participants to maximize client engagement outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of business development-related experience in financial services, ideally within asset management, private banking, or wealth management.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving fundraising or sales targets with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, or institutional clients.
- Strong existing client network in Hong Kong and/or Singapore will be a significant advantage.
- In-depth understanding of investment products and familiarity with digital asset investment strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage sophisticated investors.
