Role Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake variety of breads ― following standardized recipes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Mix, shape, proof and bake bread following company's recipes and SOPs.
- Prepare and apply fillings/toppings according to product design and recipe standards.
- Load, operate and monitor ovens ― must accurately judge baking times and temperatures for different products to achieve perfect color, crust and internal doneness.
- Assist in product packing, labelling and display when required.
- Strictly follow food safety, sanitation and workplace hygiene regulations to maintain a clean environment.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Baker-in-charge/ Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Min. 1-2 years of experience as a Baker in central kitchen/outlet or kitchen experience (training will be provided for candidates without baking experience).
- Able to follow recipes, instructions and SOPs.
- Physically fit ― able to stand for long period, lifting moderate to heavy weights and working in a hot kitchen environment.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under the pressure during peak production period.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work 6-days work week and shift as early as 7am.
