Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking candidates for an assembly role that involves performing assembly and testing activities in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate should have NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. Responsibilities include supporting gas panel assembly, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with team members. Applicants with relevant experience in the semiconductor industry will be prioritized. The position may require rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and testing activities according to the production schedule, specifications, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Support gas panel assembly, including pallet assembly, leak checks, system integration, functional testing, and final quality inspection.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards and adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocols.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Uphold strong Quality and Productivity standards in daily tasks.
• Work in a cleanroom environment as required.
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Requirements

• NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline, with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Applicants without the stated qualifications but with relevant experience may be considered based on overall merit.
• Able to read and understand schematic and mechanical drawings.
• Able to independently perform assembly work involving up to two processes on a single platform.
• Experience in gas box or gas panel assembly within the semiconductor industry will be an advantage.
• Able to work rotating day/night shifts (rotation once every quarter or every two quarters).
• 3‑4 / 4‑3 shift pattern applies.
