Job description

The Test Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for card‑related projects and enhancements. The role ensures that testing is executed effectively, business requirements are validated, and system changes meet quality, risk, and compliance standards prior to release.

Responsibilities
  • UAT – Define the UAT strategy, scope, timelines, and testing approach for card‑related applications and processes.
  • UAT – Prepare and maintain UAT test plans, schedules, test scenarios, and entry/exit criteria.
  • UAT – Coordinate UAT execution with business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and operational teams.
  • UAT – Validate end‑to‑end business processes, card lifecycle scenarios, customer journeys, and operational workflows.
  • UAT – Manage UAT environments, ensuring test data preparation and readiness.
  • UAT – Track UAT defects, support triage sessions, and coordinate timely defect resolution with technical teams.
  • UAT – Provide daily/weekly UAT progress reports, dashboards, and testing metrics.
  • UAT – Act as the primary contact for UAT governance, risk issues, and escalation management.
  • UAT – Facilitate UAT completion, sign‑off, and proper handover to release or go‑live teams.
  • SIT – Serve as the main point of contact for SIT status, governance, and coordination activities.
  • SIT – Prepare SIT progress updates, daily/weekly reports, defect metrics, and testing insights.
  • SIT – Coordinate test execution with development teams, business teams, UAT teams, and release managers.
  • SIT – Support SIT completion, ensure closure of critical defects, and manage handover to UAT or subsequent testing phases.
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting – Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across technology, business, and operations teams.
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting – Ensure effective communication of testing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting – Participate in project meetings, walkthroughs, and change management discussions.
  • Stakeholder Management & Reporting – Provide structured reporting on test readiness, execution, risks, and mitigation plans.
Requirements
  • Experience leading UAT and/or SIT for technology or digital transformation projects.
  • Hands-on experience in cards domain testing, covering areas such as:
  • Card issuance, transaction processing, authorization, clearing & settlement
  • Card management systems (CMS), loyalty, rewards, fraud checks
  • End-to-end card lifecycle testing
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in defect management tools and test management platforms.
