Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Raffles Place

5 Days Work Week/ 9am – 5.30pm

Salary: $8,000 - $12,000 (depends on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level reinsurance service to existing treaty clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and assess the evolving needs of clients, recommending optimal treaty programs and products.
• Proactively identify and target new treaty clients and reinsurance markets, developing and implementing strategic business plans to acquire new business.
• Demonstrate proficiency in widely used treaty wordings, terms, and conditions, with a focus on Property Treaty Reinsurance.
• Work closely with the Technical Processing and Broking Support department to maintain accurate documentation and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure Contract Certainty in alignment with relevant regulatory compliance standards such as MAS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with 2-4 years of experience in the reinsurance industry.
• Preferred qualifications include MAS CGI, Chartered Insurance Practitioner (ACII), or other relevant professional (re)insurance certifications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
